Tips For Chosing The Perfect Air Freshener
There you were, just washing up your hands in one of those tight, cramped airplane bathrooms. Just as you turn and open the door to exit, you notice that a beautiful woman is waiting patiently to get in. She smirks at you in a flirtatious manner. Suddenly you swallow a fat lump in your throat and pull the compact door closed. What in God's name are you going to do now? First of all, you just flat-out dissed a beautiful woman by shutting the door in her face. And secondly, the miniscule lavatory you're standing in smells unholy, because you just did a number two. WOW, what a great place to be in! Are you catching the sarcasm in my tone? What you really need now is a decent air freshener. Either that or a parachute.
From the beginning of time, man has sought out pleasant smelling flowers and aromas to freshen-up their humble abodes. Okay, I should probably say woman. That's certainly more realistic in this day and age. Women are the queens of the modern air freshener. Now days we even devote half of an isle in the grocery store to a vast array of candles, plug-ins, gels, sprays, and dispersing scents. Wow, our homes must reek to require this much floral assistance. Personally, I've always been a big fan of the old-school air freshener. You know the one and only original that your dad would tell you to break out after you used the toilet. The match! That burst of fire quickly destroys odors like no other. And I totally mean this. Nothing beats the match. I don't care what you did in that bathroom, a match or two will obliterate the foul stench. Not to mention, this is such an easy way to erase odors.
There is a common dilemma with the contemporary air freshener. Unlike the match, rich and aromatic air fresheners don't kill the scent. They simply disperse loads of fragrance that attempt to mask the odors. In the end you're left with a bathroom that smells like human excrement and lavender. That cannot be a good thing. No one wants to walk into that horrific stench. It's time folks saved the high-tech air fresheners for the rest of the home, and kept the box of matches on the back of the commode where it belongs.
