5 Things You Must Know About Childrens Bedding

When my daughter was two, buying children’s bedding was very easy. Well, it was in idea anyway. When I asked her if there was anything she wanted for her bed she said one word, “Wiggles.” Though that made deciding what to get very easy, it didn’t mean I could find what I needed. Wiggles merchandise was very hard to find then –and still is honestly- and I had to settle for getting a few things with the Wiggles on them and then buying everything else in the Wiggles’ colors. Luckily they are known for their colors so that wasn’t very hard.

Now that she is five, I want to get her something else. Though she still loves the Wiggles, I do want to get her something that is a little girlier. She really loves princesses, so I thought I would get some children’s bedding that would fit that theme. I don’t want to buy the Disney princess stuff though, so I am going to have to find something in children’s bedding that looks like what a princess might have on her own bed. The problem is not finding this stuff. The problem is narrowing down the many choices.

When it comes to children’s bedding, I am glad I have a daughter. Nothing against little boys, of course, but being a girl myself makes me love that I can buy her some of the children’s bedding that I might have wanted to have when I was a little girl. I already have my eye on a canopy bed for her when she gets a little older, and I have a good idea about what type of comforter I am going to get for her when she gets it. I want her to feel like a fairy princess while she is still young enough to believe in magic.

For now though, I will just have to find some children’s bedding that will work with her current bed. This means that I have to find something small that will work with the toddler sized bed that she will not part with as of yet. That should be easy enough, but I will have to go with colors that go with red. The best part about it though is that there are many places to buy children’s bedding where I live, so I should have no trouble finding something that I can live with and that she will love.
